TECHNOLOGY:

EVA: The moulded EVA foam insert is particularly flexible. It helps improve shock absorption and lightness.

Vibram®: The benchmark for abrasion-resistant rubber soles. Exclusive compositions are created according to the specific requirements of each activity. For hiking and trekking, shoes with Vibram technology have a sole that ensures optimal traction, support and cushioning, even on uneven terrain.

3M™ Thinsulate™: These products retain as much heat as possible on a smaller surface area. This technology ensures that the wearer of clothing or footwear can enjoy lightness and freedom of movement even in cold weather, while being kept warm.

Thinsulate is a material made up of fine synthetic fibres that store a lot of air and help ensure warmth.

The 3M company is renowned for its numerous innovations, including those used in Neil Armstrong's gear.

Special Thinsulate Insulation fibres ensure a high level of comfort as well as efficient breathability and moisture wicking, even when practising sports that generate a lot of sweat.

Dry-Line: The Dry-Line® system developed by Boreal is more than a waterproof membrane. It is a unique lining with unbeatable performance and reliability. It combines the Sympatex® 337 professional membrane with a microfibre lining. The mono-microfibre weaving process enables excellent breathability. Made of air-filled stretchy cells, it enables moisture produced by the foot to be evacuated. Moisture is also evacuated lengthways. Shoes then have the ability to wick away moisture both horizontally and vertically. The Sympatex® membrane used in the Dry-Line® system is a copolymer membrane made up of polyester and polyether. Unlike most membranes used, this one is not microporous and therefore cannot become clogged. Its performance will therefore not deteriorate over time. It is also a stretchier membrane than others, making the Dry-Line® system much less prone to perforations. As a result, shoes equipped with them are much more reliable and durable than those with other types of linings. The Sympatex® membrane is made without halogens or solvents and fully recyclable, making it the most ecological membrane on the market.
