TECHNOLOGY:
Qi: Standard developed by the Wireless Power Consortium to wirelessly transmit energy up to 40 mm. The Qi system (pronounced 'tchi' from the Chinese word meaning "energy/vital breath" comprises a transmitter (a charger) and a compatible receiver in a mobile device. For the system to work, it is placed on top of the pad, charging via resonant inductive coupling.
