TECHNOLOGY:

GORE-TEX® PACLITE® RECYCLED: The Gore-Tex® membrane is a very thin layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) with a laminated outer fabric and often lined. Soft and very light it seduces by its smooth touch, its excellent resistance to abrasion as well as weathering. It is durably impervious (28,000 mm) and windproof (RET 9), while being water repellent without carbon and without fluorine. The result is that water from the outside does not penetrate the garment, the cold wind does not get through and perspiration is easily released.

Mix & Match: This system offers the option to choose the insulation liner for your jacket using an identical zip fastener system. Therefore allowing you to add comfort and style to your protective jacket as needed.

DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.

CERTIFICATION:

Oeko-Tex® Certification: The innovative fibres used are certified by Oeko-Tex®, an internationally recognised control body. This label certifies that the fibres do not contain chemical elements that are harmful to the skin and the individual.

Bluesign® Standard: Environmental program to eliminate substances that are potentially hazardous to human health or the environment from the textile supply chain. A Bluesign® approved fabric ensures that:

  • The fabric itself is free of harmful chemicals
  • Unsafe emissions in water, ground and air are reduced
  • The use of energy resources is controlled and reduced to a minimum
  • The working conditions are healthy and safe

Low Impact™: Low Impact™ is based on 2 criteria that are essential to eco-design: the use of materials with a low environmental impact (at least 40% of the weight of the product is made from low impact materials such as Ecoya, Sorona®, tencel, hemp, RDS feathers), or certified materials (at least 80% of the product weight must be certified Bluesign®, Oeko-Tex®).

BREATHABILITY:

RET Breathability Index: Breathability determines the ability a fabric has for moisture wicking, it is measured in Thermal Evaporative Resistance (RET).

  • RET < 6: extremely breathable fabric. Fabric that is comfortable during intense exercise.
  • RET < 12: very breathable fabric. Fabric that is comfortable to wear during moderate exercise.
  • RET < 20: medium breathable fabric. Fabric that is uncomfortable to wear during intense exercise.
  • RET > 20: not very breathable fabric. Fabric that is uncomfortable to wear during moderate exercise.
