TECHNOLOGY:
GORE® THERMIUM™: Gore® Thermium™ products have durable insulation from wind and water. Gore® Thermium™ products are windproof, water-resistant and highly breathable, whether synthetic or down. The garment stays warm and comfortable when the wind blows, even in fine rain or snow. It has a waterproof strip with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating on the outer fabric.
DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
