DELRIN®: Delrin® is a registered trademark of Dupont™ de Nemours. It is an acetal resin launched in the 60's. It is a crystalline plastic made by polymerising formaldehyde. Characteristics:

Ripstop-Polytex: Deuter uses this material with two thicknesses – polyester 600D Ripstop is the stronger version of Super Polytex. 225D Ripstop Polytex is a thinner version. The two materials have a PU coating with a water column 2,000 mm.
Microrip-Nylon: 210 den nylon fabric with strong ripstop threads and PU coating. This fine, lightweight and yet abrasion resistant nylon is optimal for lightweight backpack construction.
3D AirMesh: A 3 mm thick and therefore three dimensional polyester mesh. The optimum air permeability and padding effect turns it to the ideal lining fabric for back padding, shoulder straps and hip belts. It offers maximum durability and comfort.
