TECHNOLOGY:
DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
COMPOSITION:
DEFENDER®: A product of Eider research, the Defender® membrane guarantees wind-resistance, windproofing and breathability. The material's elasticity allows freedom of movement.

PFC-Free Water-Repellency: PFCs are made up of polluting chemical, traditionally used in DWR treatments for durable water-repellency. Eider is working on a more eco-friendly process without perfluorinated compounds, which will still maintain expected level of quality with the target of eventually eliminating all PFCs.
