Pertex® Shield: This shield-like composition represents a fusion of technically advanced fabric faces with a microporous waterproof (10,000 mm) and breathable (7,000 g / m² / 24h) coating. With the focus on durability, shield combines wind and water protection with excellent breathability.

Commitment, for sustainable products and processes: The philosophy of the Ternua brand pushes them and motivates them to work according to the concept of Commitment, a concept that allows them to interact with the natural environment and with people, in harmony and in an ethical way, with sustainable projects that transform these principles into a real and palpable commitment. Products with the Commitment logo are made from recycled or natural and biodegradable materials.

PFC Free: PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health.

PFC-free products are environmentally friendly.

Bluesign® Standard: Environmental program to eliminate substances that are potentially hazardous to human health or the environment from the textile supply chain. A Bluesign® approved fabric ensures that:

  • The fabric itself is free of harmful chemicals
  • Unsafe emissions in water, ground and air are reduced
  • The use of energy resources is controlled and reduced to a minimum
  • The working conditions are healthy and safe
