TECHNOLOGY:

PrimaLoft® Liner: Superior heat to keep the skier warm and comfortable. PRIMALOFT® GOLD INSULATION ECO with GRIP CONTROL combines functionality, performance and comfort. PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco with Grip Control is synonymous with performance: combining warmth and insulating comfort with the functionality of an enhanced grip sole.

Custom Cork Liner: The specifically engineered cork and resin compound integrated into the liner wraps the foot in comfort and performance. As well as being naturally insulating due to its superior density, cork enables unbeatable energy transfer between the boot and the ski. Unlike foam and other boot liner materials it doesn’t compress when engaging the edge — making turning in these boots extremely precise and responsive.

Full Shock Eraser: Strategically placed foam to cushion impacts to the heel, calf and shin and improve performance.

PU Boot Board: The polyurethane sock liner offers a solid base under the foot, providing high performance and enabling optimal positioning inside the shell for a personalised, more anatomic fit.

Women's Specific Cuff: Since the female calf is anatomically different to men's, NORDICA has sculpted collars (and boot socks) of women's boots to work together with the shape of the female calf for comfort and performance.

FLEX INDEX:

Flex Index: The flex is the boot's flexibility index. The greater the flex, the more rigid and reactive the boot. On the contrary, a soft flex will be more tolerant and comfortable. The flex of your boot is chosen in relation to your skiing level as well as size.

Men's Flex Index:

  • Flex less than 80: beginner to intermediate
  • Flex from 80 to 110: intermediate to advanced
  • Flex above 110: expert

Women's Flex Index:

  • Flex less than 70: beginner to intermediate
  • Flex from 70 to 100: intermediate to advanced
  • Flex above 100: expert
Important: A flex that is too rigid for the average skier will impede progression. For a heavy and powerful skier, it is essential to increase the ski's flex.
