3M™ Thinsulate™: These products retain as much heat as possible on a smaller surface area. This technology is light, warm and provides freedom of movement for the wearer, even in cold weather. Thinsulate uses fabric made from thin synthetic fibres, which store a lot of air and produce warmth. The 3M company is renowned for its numerous innovations, including those used in Neil Armstrong's gear. The special Thinsulate Insulation fibres ensure a high level of comfort as well as efficient breathability and anti-moisture action, even when practising sports that generate a lot of sweat. |
DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
