TECHNOLOGY:
GORE-TEX® ACTIVE: Products made with Gore-Tex® Active are durably waterproof (28,000 mm) and windproof, while being extremely breathable (RET < 3): they are the most breathable of the Gore-Tex® range. These fabrics are the ideal solution for alpine sports. They are perfect for intense activities, even in bad weather. Clothing made with Gore-Tex® fabrics wick moisture efficiently; they are soft, light and comfortable on the skin. These garments keep your body warm, while preventing sweat build-up, keeping you comfortable during your activities and warm during recovery. |
GORE-TEX® C-KNIT™ BACKER: Gore-Tex® with a C-Knit™ Backer construction are lightweight and provide addition comfort for all outdoors lovers for freeride, touring and more.

Fluorocarbon free DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
The waterproof treatment is derived from a hydrocarbon base made from silicone and / or wax. In order to preserve the environment, all perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) are removed from the coating.
COMPOSITION:
Ripstop: This synthetic fabric, often made from nylon or polyester, uses a special reinforcing technique that makes it tear and abrasion-resistant. During the weaving process, reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the hatched pattern. These intervals are generally 5 to 8 millimetres. Ripstop fabric is thin and lightweight with thicker threads interwoven into thinner cloth for a 3-dimensional structure.

BREATHABILITY INDEX:
RET Breathability Index: Breathability determines the ability a fabric has for moisture wicking, it is measured in Thermal Evaporative Resistance (RET).
- RET < 6: extremely breathable fabric. Fabric that is comfortable during intense exercise.
- RET < 12: very breathable fabric. Fabric that is comfortable to wear during moderate exercise.
- RET < 20: medium breathable fabric. Fabric that is uncomfortable to wear during intense exercise.
