TECHNOLOGY:

GORE-TEX®: The Gore-Tex® membrane is a very thin layer of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) with a laminated outer fabric and is often lined. It is waterproof (28,000 mm) and windproof (RET between 6 and 13), as well as permeable to water vapour. The result is that water from the outside does not penetrate the garment, the cold wind does not get through and perspiration is easily released.

PrimaLoft® Silver Eco: The PrimaLoft® Silver range is extremely versatile. It is a high performance insulation with remarkable properties to face the elements. The Eco model is made with 70% post-consumer recycled materials.

  • Warmth: excellent weight-to-heat ratio for retaining heat without excessive volume
  • Water-repellent: reduced moisture absorption to retain heat and remain dry
  • Breathability: encourages moisture wicking to help protect from the damp and cold
  • Compressible: easy, compact storage
  • Lightweight: maximum warmth for minimum weight

DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.

CERTIFICATION:

PFC Free: PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health.

PFC-free products are environmentally friendly.
