TECHNOLOGY:

LAMBERTZ-NICHOLSON ACHILLES TENDON PROTECTION: Reinforcements reduce pressure on the achilles tendon area. This shock absorber acts as a buffer between the foot and the shoe to reduce pressure points and friction. 

AIRCONDITIONING CHANNEL® WITH HIGH-TECH THREAD: The thread used in the AirConditioning Channel® ensure optimal wicking. A comfortable merino wool sock that properly wicks away moisture.  

STRETCHY RIBBING: Stretch bands provide elasticity and regulate the temperature around the foot as air flows along the stretch bands. This allows evacuation of moisture from the shoe with every movement of the foot. 

AIRGUIDES™: An air conduit placed along the AirConditioning Channel® helps air flow. It insulates the shoe and allows constant ventilation, reducing the risk of blisters. The drier the skin, the better the risk is controlled.

INSTEP PROTECTOR WITH AIRVENT ZONE: 3D weave prevents the material from resting on the entire surface, leaving a layer of air under it and reducing pressure points and irritation, while providing effective foot ventilation.

TOETIP PROTECTOR: Everyone knows the unpleasant feeling when the foot keeps slipping forward and the toes bump against the shoe. After a while, you have a painful sore spot. To mitigate this pressure, the asymmetric protection is made with Robur™ hollow fibre which absorbs shocks. This reinforcement protects the tips of the toes, the most sensitive area of the foot. 

TOE PROTECTOR:  If you want to perform, you need to look after your toes. The asymmetric toe protector absorbs pressure and perfectly envelops the toes. 

TRAVERSE AIRFLOW CHANNEL SYSTEM™: The Traverse AirFlow Channel System ™ is a three channel ventilation system that helps capture moisture and heat in the AirConditioning Channel®. It also regulates the temperature of the footbed, which is usually surrounded by the shoe. The pump function of the arch is necessary to achieve this effect. Whilst walking, the air contained in the shoe is pushed back on the sides of the foot. As the foot is raised, the movement allows fresh air to enter. 

ANATOMICALLY SHAPED FOOTBED: Our entire body weight is borne by only a few small areas of the foot. Using the best ­technology available today, the anatomically shaped footbed aligned to “R”- right and “L”- left foot, protects and supports these high stress areas. The Air-Conditioning Channel® starts at the foot’s arch and leads out of the shoe. Heat and moisture are continually regulated by the pumping effect which ensures that, with every step, fresh air flows around the foot. 

HEEL PROTECTOR: Pressure exerted on the heel can easily cause blisters. This protection reduces rubbing and helps prevent blisters forming. 

X-CROSS® BANDAGE: the ankles are under high demand and require additional protection without inhibiting the freedom of the foot. This technology is a transverse bandage of elastic material, stabilizing the ankle and taking optimal care of the foot's function.

POLE PROTECTION: The thicker the reinforcement, the more effective the protection. But no sock manufacturer has so far worried that socks literally deprive the foot of air. Except X-SOCKS® who have developed an ingenious system of leg reinforcement that provides perfect protection and lets air circulate even in narrow shoes. The stick form of the protection lets the air through, and if ever a shock occurs, it is not only directed towards the skin, it is also absorbed on the sides. 

AIRCOOL STRIPES™: X-Socks® have developed a particularly light range of socks. The anatomically shaped footbed with right foot and left foot is made of Skin NODOR®, a yarn that blocks odours and bacteria, and keeps your feet pleasantly dry and hygienic. Integrated into the Skin NODOR® material are AirCool Stripes, of breathable Mythlan processed into a fine-knit net. These high-tech functional fibres cool and ventilate feet even under the sole and provide incredible comfort even on the hottest days of summer. 

COMPOSITION:

Renewable, recyclable and biodegradable, merino wool combines all the advantages of traditional wool, synthetic fibres and cotton. It is soft, warm in the cold and cool in the heat, breathable to prevent dampness and has anti-odour properties.

ROBUR: Robur® is a cushioned hollow fibre that reduces pressure and shocks through integrated micro-air pockets.
