TimberDry™: Made from 50% recycled plastic, this waterproof membrane helps protect against moisture and is used in shoes with a sealed construction.
SensorFlex™: SensorFlex™ technology mixes comfort and style. This new shoe sole developed exclusively for Timberland will provide a sporty and casual look on models with leather uppers and the finesse of the fit let them retain their part of elegance. But above the style, these shoes provide real comfort thanks to the cushioning, support and the unbelievable flexible provided by the soles. Shoes equipped with SensorFlex™ technology are the perfect balance of comfort and casual style.
GripStick™: GripStick™ rubber is our most adhesive rubber. This technology, used for several years, is made from 42% recycled rubber. Through our engineers' discovery we often integrate Green Rubber™ in our highest performance shoes. Soles with GripStick™ rubber are designed for specific needs, from sailing to cycling. The non marking sole helps prevent footprints on the boat.
COMPOSITION:
Recycled PET: Products with this logo have high quality fabric fibres obtained from the recycling of plastic bottles. The recycling of plastic bottles helps create durable and solid polyester fabrics which perfectly wick sweat. This material used by Timberland for over 10 years is nowadays also integrated into certain shoe linings and laces.
EVA: The moulded EVA foam insert is particularly flexible. It helps improve shock absorption and lightness.
CERTIFICATION:
Silver Rated Tanneries: This logo means that one or more major components use at least 50% leather tanned in a facility rated Silver or higher by a third-party environmental audit (LWG). This label ensures a high quality leather from tanneries which are renowned for their eco-friendly engagement trough criteria such as waist management, CO2 emissions as well as the control of water and energy consumption.
