TECHNOLOGY:
In-Mold: Construction with unique moulding between the outer shell and the inner lining, significantly reducing the weight of the helmet and providing more efficient ventilation. This unique construction also ensures a better diffusion of the impact over a larger part of the helmet.
The outer shell made from polycarbonate (known for its excellent impact resistance) is directly moulded with the expanded polystyrene (EPS) inner foam.
Run System Ergo Snow: Alpina ski helmets rely on the renowned and proven RUN SYSTEM. It's a flexible helmet fitting system with a centre dial. Simply turn it to tighten or loosen the headband. The top of the range model features, left and right of the new generation dial, two large padded cushions that distribute pressure. The large dial is easy to use when wearing ski gloves, it has two elements.
Airstream Control: The Venting System holes can be opened and closed using a button. Air circulation can be regulated and adapted to weather conditions. This means perfect air quality.
3D Fit: This system lets you adjust the height of the Run System to five positions behind the head for an even more secure fitting helmet.
Neckwarmer: This soft, comfortable microfleece neck warmer is very low in the back part of the helmet. It also prevents draughts at the neck as you speed down the piste and in Siberian temperatures. An intelligent design that prevents pressure points.
EDGE PROTECT: This manufacturing process ensures that there are no sharp edges to be found on In Mold helmets. This reduces the risk of getting hurt in two ways: firstly, handling the helmet is always comfortable on the hands, and secondly, the bottom edge of the helmet will not cause scratches to the neck and shoulder areas in the event of a crash.
