TECHNOLOGY:

Climactive® Plain 2L: Lafuma created the Climactive® label that certifies products that are waterproof and breathable. Clothing with this technology prevents water from penetrating the fabric to stop it from getting wet. Climactive® fabrics have a membrane that guarantees maximum comfort, protection and durability. A waterproof and windproof protection that wicks away moisture from the skin.

Lightness and flexibility are guaranteed by this waterproof material. An essential basic that protects you in poor weather conditions, a printed version for more style and modernity.

DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.

CERTIFICATION:

Low Impact™: Low Impact™ is based on 2 criteria that are essential to eco-design: the use of materials with a low environmental impact (at least 40% of the weight of the product is made from low impact materials such as Ecoya, Sorona®, tencel, hemp, RDS feathers), or certified materials (at least 80% of the product weight must be certified Bluesign®, Oeko-Tex®).

OEKO-TEX® Certification: The innovative fibres used are certified by Oeko-Tex®, an internationally recognised control body. This label certifies that the fibres do not contain chemical elements that are harmful to the skin and the individual.

PFC Free: PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health.

PFC-free products are environmentally friendly.
