TECHNOLOGY:

Light Kicker Core:  This is a core based on the Kicker I poplar core, it is lightweight and durable, and offers excellent flex and power. Mechanic size that lightens the core by 8% by reducing the volume and materials where possible.

Cherry Pop Camber:  It uses a combination of a regular and reverse camber. It has the power and control of a classic camber, and the manageability of a reversed camber under the feet providing an extremely playful board. This camber is the tolerant for lightweight riders

Armadillo Plate:  A system that is used on all StepChild boards, a diamond-shaped fibreglass reinforcement placed on the inserts. This provides greater reactivity and reinforces the solidness of the inserts.

Snag Free Bases:  the snag free bases are hardened in the press machine using a temperature control system. The material comes out of the press much harder than before. This process provides a more solid base and therefore greater glide and performance.

Biax:  Construction that intertwines vertical and horizontal layers of fibreglass on two axes. The board is much more reactive, and offers more energy while remaining rigid

Future Glue:  This type of glue is present throughout the Stepchild boards. It is a blend of different compounds, it attaches the base to the core and offers the best resistance.
