GORE-TEX® PRO: Products made using Gore-Tex® Pro fabrics are durably waterproof (28,000 mm) and windproof while remaining extremely breathable (RET < 6). They provide comfort and efficient weather protection, even during extended use in extreme conditions.
These garments keep your body warm, while preventing sweat build-up, keeping you comfortable during physical activities and warm during recovery. Gore-Tex® Pro garments have a 3-layer construction design to meet the many needs of outdoor sports lovers. These premium materials ensure optimal abrasion and tear resistance as well as protection from extreme weather conditions.
DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
COMPOSITION:
Mini Ripstop WR: Ultra lightweight and wind-resistant polyamide fabric with micro-Ripstop construction. Excellent mechanical performance as well as tear and abrasion resistance. Soft and comfortable, the outside has a water-repellent finish and the inside has a light breathable polyurethane coating, ideal for rain protection.
BREATHABILITY INDEX:
RET Breathability Index: Breathability determines the ability a fabric has for moisture wicking, it is measured in Thermal Evaporative Resistance (RET).
RET < 6: extremely breathable fabric. Fabric that is comfortable during intense exercise.
RET < 12: very breathable fabric. Fabric that is comfortable to wear during moderate exercise.
RET < 20: medium breathable fabric. Fabric that is uncomfortable to wear during intense exercise.
RET > 20: not very breathable fabric. Fabric that is uncomfortable to wear during moderate exercise.
