TECHNOLOGY:
DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
COMPOSITION:
N 210D HONEYCOMB: 210 Denier Honeycomb polyamide fabric selected for lightness and resistant, combining flexibility and softness.
600D Oxford: 600 denier polyester is a a fabric with a polyurethane coating. Light, resistant, ripstop and versatile, it is used for most Lafuma hiking backpacks.
1200 D Polyester: 1200 denier polyester is abrasion-resistant and ripstop. It is mainly used for backpack bases and has a textured surface. The inside has a thick polyurethane coating.
CERTIFICATION:
PFC Free: PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health. PFC-free products are environmentally friendly. |
Low Impact™: Low Impact™ is based on 2 criteria that are essential to eco-design: the use of materials with a low environmental impact (at least 40% of the weight of the product is made from low impact materials such as Ecoya, Sorona®, tencel, hemp, RDS feathers), or certified materials (at least 80% of the product weight must be certified Bluesign®, Oeko-Tex®). |
