Araneum: 20 deniers ripstop nylon that is 33% more resistant and only 10% heavier (41 g/m2) than a 15 denier fabric; making it light and durable.

As the Araneum fabric doesn't have a coating, it provides surprisingly good insulation, dries through active body heat and can be washed multiple times, without affecting its performance.

Ripstop: This synthetic fabric, often made from nylon or polyester, uses a special reinforcing technique that makes it tear and abrasion-resistant. During the weaving process, reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the hatched pattern. These intervals are generally 5 to 8 millimetres. Ripstop fabric is thin and lightweight with thicker threads interwoven into thinner cloth for a 3-dimensional structure.
