TECHNOLOGY:

Elektra Design: Elektra frames are designed to match a woman's natural gait, with a tapered tail, narrower nose and outside curves that bring the snowshoes together comfortably. These binding designs are moulded around a women's boot for increased arch support, using carefully placed straps and padding to eliminate pressure points and keep blood circulating in the cold.

V-Frame™: The V-shape goes directly into deep snow and the tapered tail pulls out less snow as you move forward, helping save energy. The V-Frame™ rolls easily for each phase of a natural stride. Made with durable, lightweight 6061 aluminium, V-Frames™ can be used for all Atlas snowshoes, including the more recent Youth series. 

Spring-Loaded™: Patented Spring-Loaded™ Suspension (SLS) by Atlas holds the snowshoe close to the foot for easier movement and helps lift your foot for improved flex. The suspension absorbs shock and allows your feet to flex naturally side-by-side for a comfortable and stable position on cross-country and uneven terrain. SLS also improves traction control, as the flex helps the crampons penetrate deeper into the slope, particularly for steep terrain.

Wrapp™ Swift: Built on the arch support of the Wrapp™ platform, Wrapp™ Swift combines a technical fit with optimal comfort and warm EVA padding, as well as straps that bend easily.

Nytex Decking: Nytex flexible decking is tolerant and quiet for hiking in the cold, providing durability without adding weight.

Heel Lift Bar: For steep climbs, the calf muscles can get tired quickly and traction reduces as your foot matches the angle of the slope. The heel lift bar reduces fatigue and attaches directly to the rear traction system to improve traction.

All-Trac™: All-Trac™ toe crampon geometry is tested for traction in all directions. Wider pull tabs on the sides and corners work with the sharp front and rear spikes for confident hiking.

Traverse Trac Rails: The sharp ridges of the side rails increase the heel cleat downhill function, running parallel to the snow shoe frame for solid footing even on firm ground.

COMPOSITION:

EVA: The moulded EVA foam insert is particularly flexible. It helps improve shock absorption and lightness.
