TECHNOLOGY:
Spring-loaded suspension: Keeps the snow shoe close to facilitate movement and to suspend your foot so that it can move freely. The suspension absorbs the shocks and allows the foot to keep a stable position on uneven terrain. SLS equally improves traction control.
Heel lift bar: This heel lift bar relieves fatigue and provides better grip.
TRAVERSE TRAC RAILS: The sharp ridges of the side rails increase the heel cleat downhill function, running parallel to the snow shoe frame for solid footing even on firm terrain.
Holey-1 Toe crampon: The holey-1 uses its stainless steel teeth in the form of a shovel for improved grip on the ice.
Reactiv Trac: The innovative Atlas Reactiv-Trac ™ construction integrates the perimeter traction of a serrated t-frame and the flex of an elliptical tip. The SLS solid straps flex the system's nose allowing the binding, crampon, and frame to allow you to move freely, providing unparalleled performance and confident footing.
Pack Flat: Designed for snowboarding and backcountry, the new PackFlat ™ binding features urethane quick-release straps that are replaceable in the field using the BC Utility Strap (included). Suitable for using with big snowboard boots, the binding collapses flat making them easy to store in your bag.
ATLAS BC Utility Strap: The BC Utility Strap can be used to attach your snowshoes to your bag, to attach equipment together, or as a spare strap for replaceable PackFlat ™ bindings or in any other emergency situation.
