TECHNOLOGY:

Dual Density Full Shock Eraser: Suspension for your feet. The Dual Density boot board offers a cushioned underfoot to soak up the impact from big landings and unwanted vibrations. This is combined with strategically placed foam padding on the shin, toe and heel to absorb even the biggest impacts. Nordica provides the perfect solution for skiers who want to take on the slopes with a product that does not compromise.

Custom GridWorx: Custom GridWorx is a simple grid-shaped internal spacer designed to assist boot professionals during personalisation to help identify painful areas for the skier's foot.

Screwed Parts: make the boots easier to work on than ever for the custom boot fitter. They have easy-to-remove screws in the strap buckles and collar.

Women's Specific Cuff: Since the female calf is anatomically different to men's, NORDICA has sculpted collars (and boot socks) of women's boots to work together with the shape of the female calf for comfort and performance.

FLEX INDEX:

FLEX INDEX: The flex is the boot's flexibility index. The greater the flex, the more rigid and reactive the boot. On the contrary, a soft flex will be more tolerant and comfortable. The flex of your boot is chosen in relation to your skiing level as well as size.

Men's Flex Index:

  • Flex from 60 to 70: beginner to intermediate
  • Flex from 80 to 110: intermediate to advanced
  • Flex above 120: expert

Women's Flex Index:

  • Flex from 50 to 70: beginner to intermediate
  • Flex from 80 to 90: intermediate to advanced
  • Flex from 100 to 110: expert

Important: A flex that is too rigid for the average skier will impede progression. For a heavy and powerful skier, it is essential to increase the flex.
