Forefoot Rearfoot Gel: In 1986 Asics introduced their unique Gel cushioning concept. It transforms the shock wave generated by the impact of the ground into positive energy. The volume and density of the gel is precisely calculated to retain stability. Asics Gel is silicone based. It is positioned on the heel and/or under the fore-foot, depending on the technicality of the shoe and the sport requirements.
AHAR+: High resistance rubber placed in key areas of the outsole to deliver even greater grip and durability.
SpEVA®: Classic rubber injected EVA. The SpEVA midsole is more comfortable, more resistant and more dynamic. It's innovative molecular structure helps the midsole return quickly to its original shape between strides. It increases durability and therefore comfort.
