Expension View: Developed in the Giro test lab, this revolutionary new frame design offers unparalleled peripheral vision. The edges of the frame have been thinned and frameless areas added to optimise the field of view.
OTG (Over The Glass): Over The Glass technology is the ideal solution for skiers who wear glasses. The goggles have perfectly, as they have a cut-out in the foam for the arms as well as strap opening for easy positioning over glasses.
Vivid™ By Zeiss: VIVID ™ is a patented lens technology, developed by Giro in partnership with ZEISS Optics, that enhances the visual experience on snow by improving contrast and definition. VIVID reduces eye fatigue, improves reaction time, increases self-confidence and provides accurate colourless, non-saturated vision.
LENS CONSTRUCTION:
Cylindrical: Cylindrical lenses are built on a base curve only in the X (horizontal) axis to fit to the face. They are relatively flat, so do not distort your view. They tend to be worn by regular skiers, especially for piste skiing.
