TECHNOLOGY:
DWR: This coating allows water to form beads and run off the shell fabric instead of being absorbed. The water-repellent outer fabric increases insulation and prevents it from being saturated by liquids, preventing any feeling of dampness.
MicroShell: Microshell is made with very thin, synthetic microfibres. Lightweight, breathable and windproof fabric. With waterproof PFC-free treatment (fluorocarbon). It is also resistant to feather and fibre padding.
Thermashell: Thanks to its hollow fibre, the Thermashell fabric allows for maximum insulation that provides warmth and high water resistance, as well as optimal softness, lightness and compressibility. Its microfibres are designed to create surface tension to resist moisture penetration. Thermashell provides: performance, warmth and comfort, excellent thermal efficiency, high water resistance, dries faster than down, as warm and soft as feather, breathable, compressible, strength and durability (machine washable), very light.
CERTIFICATION:
PFC Free: PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health.
PFC-free products are environmentally friendly.
