GORE-TEX® 3-layer: The 3-layer constructions come in a variety of front and back combinations, ranging from tough, heavyweight items to super-lightweight front fabrics combined with GORE-TEX® membrane and a variety of back fabrics from warming fleece to lightweight knit. The latest development in laminate technology within the GORE-TEX® range is GORE-TEX® C-KNIT™. Products using fabrics with the new C- KNIT ™ technology guarantee durability, reduced bulk and greater softness than fabrics with knit backing, while maintaining excellent breathability.
