GORE-TEX®:The GORE-TEX® membrane is a very thin layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) laminated to an outer fabric and very often lined. It is durably waterproof (28,000 mm) and windproof (RET between 6 and 13), while being permeable to water vapour. The result: water from the outside doesn't penetrate the garment, cold wind doesn't blow through it and perspiration can escape. |

GORE-TEX® PACLITE® RECYCLED:The Gore-Tex® Paclite® Recycled membrane is a very thin layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) laminated to an outer fabric and very often lined. Flexible and very light, it has a smooth feel and excellent resistance to abrasion and the elements. It is durably waterproof (28,000 mm) and windproof (RET 9), with a water-repellent, carbon- and fluorine-free treatment. The result: water from the outside doesn't penetrate the garment, cold wind doesn't blow through it and perspiration can escape. |

PFC Free:PFCs (perfluorocarbons) belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products to waterproof the outdoor material. They are the subject of criticism because they are considered non-biodegradable, contribute to the greenhouse effect and are suspected of being endocrine disruptors that are harmful to health. PFC Free products are therefore manufactured in an environmentally friendly way, without PFCs. |
