TECHNOLOGIES :

PrimaLoft® Cross Core™ : Current products in the PrimaLoft® Cross Core series use aerogel for enhanced thermal performance. Originally developed by NASA for use in aeronautical applications, silica aerogel is composed of over 95% air and is the lightest solid material known to man and one of the most effective insulation materials.

Ripstop : This synthetic fabric, made from nylon or polyester, uses a special reinforcement technique that makes it resistant to tearing and abrasion. During weaving, reinforcing threads are interlaced at regular intervals in a cross-hatch pattern. The intervals are generally between 5 and 8 millimetres. Thin, lightweight Ripstop fabric thus has a 3-dimensional structure thanks to the thicker yarns interwoven into a thinner fabric.

PFC-free DWR : Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatments, which improve the water and stain resistance of fabrics, help extend the life of technical garments.

This new Fluorine-free (PFC-free) solution is just as effective as current treatments and has much less impact on health and the environment.
