Extendo: Light and breathable 4-way-stretch, with a resistant outer layer and an inner layer that wicks away moisture. Made using polyester (93%) and elastane (7%) fibres, Extendo is quick drying, stretchy and retains its shape.
- Extendo ST: thicker, more flexible version with a higher content of elastane fibres (8%).
- Extendo WT: a development of Extendo fabric with a warmer insulated lining, prepared for colder seasons.
- Extendo LT: a lighter, thinner version of Extendo material, used for spring and summer hiking pants.
- Extendo CL: a lightweight version designed for climbing pants.

Kevlar®: Best known for its use in resistant armour, Kevlar® is an aramid fibre developed by DuPont™. It is a thermoplastic polymer consisting of aromatic rings which are separated by the amide groups. It is also used in various garments, accessories and equipment to enhance safety and abrasion resistance. It is light, durable and resistant. This is a synthetic fibre which has excellent tensile properties and a high tensile strength. The toughness of Kevlar comes from its structure of hydrogen bonds held together between polymer chains.
