Helly Tech®: waterproof and breathable outer layer. The unique membrane prevents water molecules penetrating, while allowing sweat vapour to leave, keeping you dry. It is the combination of a DWR treated outer fabric, a waterproof and breathable membrane, and often an internal fabric, mesh or very breathable liner.

Lifa®: Lifa® fibres provide excellent moisture wicking and thermal insulation. Tested and developed with help from professionals who work in the toughest environments, they are ideal for winter clothing.

DWR sans PFC: Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating improves the fabric's water and stain resistance and helps prolong the durability of technical garments.

New PFC-free solutions that are as efficient as current finishes but with a far lower impact on health and the environment.

RECCO®: Safety system based on radar technology, helping find victims after avalanches. The Recco® system built into the product allows waves to reflect back to the transmitter, helping the rescue team to find victims faster. The Recco® system is complementary to other security systems used for off-piste skiing/boarding.

Recycled Polyester: Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a source of raw materials. It helps reduce waste, which prevents landfill and helps reduce toxic emissions generated by incinerators. This process helps reduce consumption of the earth's resources, while keeping the advantages of classic polyester (lightness, quick drying, abrasion resistance and easy-care).

PFC Free:PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in a number of outdoor products for waterproofing the outer material. Their use has received a lot of criticism, as they are considered non-biodegradable. They build up in the body and are suspected to be harmful to health.

PFC-free products are environmentally friendly.
