MOTOR:
This type of motor is exceptionally quiet, without vibration and with a power of 10 to 430 watt which allows easy clipping for all use.
ERGONAMIC DESIGN:
Since the development of their clipper, Lister puts great importance on product ease of use. Lister products always have a comfortable handle grip at the base of the clipper. All the machines are very well balanced and the motor barely vibrates while in use.
ESSENTIAL LUBRICATION SYSTEM:
During clipping, the blades, the combs as well as the drive components are put under extreme pressure. Lubricating these parts using special clipper oil is therefore essential to correctly operate the clipper and blades, as well as ensure long-term durability. The blade tips and back contact points must be lubricated at regular 10 minute intervals; this is also the case for the drive units (letting the oil drain into the oil socket).
IMPORTANT POINTS TO CHECK BEFORE CLIPPING:
- Check the cable, especially the clipper and plug attachments. If the cable is damaged, do not use the clipper before getting it repaired by a professional
- To lengthen the life of your clipper and avoid accidents, make sure you keep it clean both inside and out (where accessible). The clipper must also be completely dry before use
- Always start the shearing season with new blades or blades that have been sharpened by a professional. Correct settings and well-sharpened blades enable precision when clipping
PREPARING THE ANIMAL FOR CLIPPING:
- The animal must be clean and dry. You should wash and rinse the animal's coat a few days before clipping
- Make sure the area where you will be clipping is also clean and dry
- Frequent clipping helps get an even all-over cut. It is better to use standard blades for legs and fine or standard blades for the rest of the body
- Flatten the skin with your hand and then clip in the opposite direction to hair growth. Gently slide the clippers upwards across the skin
